You are invited to the launch of Forever Young on Sunday 1st March (5-9pm) at Brockley Brewery (31 Harcourt Road, SE4 2AJ).
An afternoon of friendship, acoustic music - where everyone will know your name!
Following the launch, we are hoping Forever Young will be a member-only event held on the first Sunday of every month. It will be a social club, and a chance to catch up with people you know, people you have passed on the street and people you haven’t seen since the school run days. It will also be an opportunity to fund raise for local projects.
After our first event we will be offering a £10 membership to the Forever Young Club. This annual membership fee will ensure free admission for the next 12 months to all Forever Young events and also entitle you to participate in the running of the event with suggestions for local talent needing a stage; imaginative fund raising ideas; local projects that deserve support.
The brewery will be donating 20% of the bar sales and a percentage of the membership fee to local charities/projects. Currently we are thinking of supporting the U-Turn Recovery Project in Brockley and the 999 Club in Deptford. In due course we are hoping to set up an informal committee of people who would be willing to help organize events and fund raise.
