Who are we?
Brockley Brewery's Taproom was opened in 2014 and since then it has steadily grown in popularity every weekend. We now open our doors on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and some Sundays and we want to improve our offering to the community. As some of our regulars may have noticed, we have made a number of small improvements to our taproom over the past few months, including the shiny new toilets and additional seating. However, we want to make our taproom an even better experience for everyone who comes in which is why we are now coming to you, our dear loyal customers, to ask for some help.
Our Vision
With your help we can renovate our current taproom by installing a new entrance, adding more insulation for the winter months, making significant improvements to the bar and cold store, improving our takeaway options, increasing seating, increasing the brewing space to brew on a bigger scale whilst also more space for restaurant pop ups and events.
During the winter months our taproom can very be chilly and by installing a new door and insulating the current delivery doors we can make it a cosy haven for all, no jackets needed!
Currently, we are limited to eight beers on the bar and as we are now brewing many more experimental beers and specials we would like to increase that number. A bigger bar will also allow us to stock more alternatives for non-beer drinkers who kindly accompany their beer infatuated friends to our premises, such as multiple wine options (instead of just one) and more options to provide for the gluten intolerant.
We would also like to work on our sustainability, we currently use milk cartons for takeaway beer which are recyclable but we would like to do better. With your donations we could afford a growler so we could use reusable containers for takeaway beer and reduce our carbon footprint.
With more space, comes more opportunities. We hope by increasing the taproom space, we will be able to host more ambitious restaurant pop ups, more live events and the ability to showcase Brockleys vibrant arts community!
Extra space will also increase our brew school so it can run on Saturdays as well as Sundays. This means more micro-brews for all the locals and even bigger brews that we may put on the bar if they are tasty enough.
To us, this sounds like a dream but with your help it could be a reality. This renovation will allow us to sell the amount of beer we need to so that we can keep brewing. We have loved our time in Brockley and we want it to continue but we need to make some improvements so this can happen.

Pledging £30 will grant you: A Brockley Brewery sustainable, organic-cotton Tote bag and one three pack gift-set of our core bottle range. Come to our brewery on either Thursday, Friday 5.30-9pm or Saturdays 12-9pm to claim your rewards by showing your donation to the bar staff.

Four places on a Tour & Tasting class

Have you ever wanted to be a brewer?
