Just in the nick of time for Burns Night (Monday 25th January), we've brewed a tremendous Scottish Heavy (3.1% ABV) in cask to mark the occasion!
Steeped in tradition and brewed with Scottish Golden Promise malt, flaked maize and specialty caramel malts, our Scottish Heavy is truly a celebration of grain! This rich, sumptuous beer is a deep copper colour and replete with lustrous flavours of caramel, notes of nuttiness and hints of biscuit, astride a mingling of light fruity esters. In-keeping with tradition, the beer is delicately hopped to balance the wealth and depth of flavour emanating from the malts in the mash. A welcome guest at any Burns Night and paired perfectly with haggis, neeps and tatties.
