Brockley Brewing Company Ltd brew beers in the heart of South East London and we remain deeply rooted within the local community. We are a small business, with a decade of brewing experience and a guiding community minded spirit. This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic team player to join us on our journey and help grow the company.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and driven sales professional to become a key member of the Brewery Management Team. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who will work closely with the Operations Manager and Lead Brewer.

Leading the drive for new business and managing key customer accounts the Sales Manager will also have responsibility for Brewery sales through our Tap Rooms at our Brockley and Hither Green sites. The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous sales experience from within the UK drinks industry and good knowledge of the London pub and hospitality environment.

  • Have a sound understanding of and interest in our primary sales offer of cask and keg beers.

  • Have exceptional telephone, email, social media and face to face interpersonal skills.

  • Conduct new lead generation, including approaches to pubs, bars, pub group companies and bottle shops.

  • Manage weekly sales using our sales CRM software.

  • Be a decision maker, pro-active and commercially minded.

  • Be organised self-motivated and able to prioritise as appropriate between new business and existing customers.

  • Be an enthusiastic and technically able user of social media. To assist with the Brewery and Tap Room social media profiles.

  • Be able to work flexibly. Comfortable in visiting customers and working from the office.

  • Have basic cellar skills, so as to advise customers on any dispense issues with our contract beer lines.

  • Maintain excellent relationship with existing customers including regular visits to key accounts and frequent on-line and telephone contact.

  • Be an ambassador for Brockley Brewery and actively uphold our ethics and ethos.

  • Have a valid UK driving licence.

  • Legal right to work in the UK.


The salary offer will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s experience. The basic working arrangement will be 40 hours Monday to Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work will be necessary.
